The international interdisciplinary
scientific-practical conference 2006

Theme: «Planned parenthood in Ukraine - a way to national revival»

Within the terms of the festival ‘Planned parenthood 2006’ from 11-14 December 2006, the first international scientific-practical conference ‘Planned Parenthood in Ukraine – a way to national revival’ was held which was organized by the international welfare fund ‘Planned Parenthood’ of Okana Naumych.

The first-ever interdisciplinary conference took place in a hall of the Taras Shevchenko Kiev National University.

The conference was unique in that it connected different global problems relating to demographic crises (orthodox, scientific and non - conventional methods).

The conference purpose -
• to gather outstanding world experts in the field of medicine, psychology, pedagogics and religious studies;
• to show the importance and importance of the psychological component in motherhood and paternity to experts working with families at different stages of their formation (preparation for conception, pregnancy; preparation for child care and education).

Many conferences have been devoted to one of the formative stages of parenthood. The conference concept comprised questioning the demographic crisis in Ukraine not only from the point of view of quantity indicators, but also the important quality indicators of health of future generations.

At the conference: reports, master - classes of leading experts of Ukraine and the World were presented. Awarding the 29 best experts in the field of Planned Parenthood with a gold figurine and 30 experts with gold badges was the culmination of the conference.

Before the event a press conference was held where representatives of more than 30 national mass-media of Ukraine attended.

Galina Filippova – doctor of psychology, a member of the coordinating council of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for providing medical-psychological help in treatment and prophylactic establishments of obstetrics aid and childhood, Moscow, Russia.
